We are seeking an experienced, detail- oriented and collaborative individual to join our Footwear Cost Control team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In this role, you will in driving brand costing strategic direction and optimizing the cost of footwear products. You will work closely with cross- functional teams to optimize cost models, analyze raw material market data, and develop negotiation strategies to drive cost- effective product development. You will also coordinate and facilitate all cost- related topics internally within the Costing team and externally with other functions, to ensure our footwear products meet profitability goals without compromising on quality or design.

■Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and report on product costs and variances to support decision- making and financial forecasting.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best possible prices and terms for materials and production.
• Collaborate with supply planning teams on product volume forecasts, identify potential bottlenecks and actively act accordingly.
• Collaborate with product development, design, and sourcing teams to ensure product cost targets are met.
• Develop and maintain accurate cost models for footwear products.
• Analyze raw material market data and industry trends to identify cost- saving opportunities.
• Stay up to date on footwear industry and business trends and drivers to support proactive adjustment to the dynamic cost environment
• Manage and ensure accurate and timely cost breakdown sheets from ASICS’s manufacturing partners across seasons and development stages and communicate internal and external with stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in the costing process and cost optimization strategies.

• Ability to work collaboratively across different teams, remain flexible and handle pressure situation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a fast- paced environment.
• From 3+ to 8+ years of experience in costing, development, or engineering with strong understanding of footwear manufacturing, processes and constructions. Candidates who have worked with/for Nike, Adidas, New Balance, or major sportwear companies are welcomed. Experience working with sole costing is a strong plus.
• Understanding of footwear manufacturing processes and supply chain management preferred.
• Strong price negotiation, problem- solving skills and impeccable integrity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Bachelor&039;s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent in Japanese or English spoken and written; Chinese (Mandarin) or Korean is a plus.
■Working conditions
- In case of overnight business trip, daily allowance and accommodation are offered.
- Factories & partners: HCMC, Binh Duong Province, Binh Phuoc Province etc.
- Visit factories and partners on a weekly basis, using company’s car.

■Working time
Mon- Fri: 8:00- 17:00

■Salary:
[Staff level/3+ years] Basic salary VND 15,000,000 + Allowances
[Professional level/8+ years] Basic salary VND 25,000,000 + Allowances
[Senior level/5+ years] Basic salary VND 19,000,000 + Allowances
