Overview:
As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software applications. You will work closely with the development and QA teams to identify test requirements, create test plans, and implement automated test scripts
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress automation, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
Collaborate with developers and QA team members to identify test requirements and create test plans.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed reports.
Continuously improve the automation framework and processes.
Maintain and update test scripts to reflect changes in the application.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar role.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Nodejs, Java, Python, C#).
Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Strong understanding of software development and QA processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices is a plus.
