Business Development and Project Management Manager

Directly report to Country Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development (Growth & Strategy)

• Develop and implement business strategies to expand market share and revenue growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, contractors, architects, and developers.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to design and execute customer programs, trade promotions, and product launch campaigns.
• Manage medium-term (3–5 years) and annual strategic action plans for assigned projects.

2. Project Management

• Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Familiarize with and advise the project team on the local authorities’ approval requirements and procedures.
• Carry out the planning and feasibility study analysis of potential new projects
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks in project
• Collaborate with project owner to determine the specifications of the project
• Prepare/develop budget and program for planning, approval, and monitoring purposes
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Prepare and deliver progress reports to management and stakeholders

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields. Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 7–10 years in Business Development, Marketing Strategy, or Project Management.
• Proven track record in handling large-scale projects (commercial, hospitality, residential, infrastructure).
• Experience in building materials, lighting, or construction-related industries preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Excellent project planning, budgeting, and risk management skills.
• Sharp negotiation, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong data analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Thai) are an advantage.
