Working Location: Sun Ancora Tower, 03 Luong Yen, Hanoi (onsite)

As a QA Engineer within the Platform teams, you will ensure end-to-end quality for AI-first E-Commerce and Digital Experience products. You will translate business requirements into clear test strategies, design and execute manual and automated tests, and drive fast, stable, secure releases at scale.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product, BA, Engineering, DevOps/SRE, and Security to improve reliability, performance, and compliance across mission-critical user journeys.

Responsibilities

- Design and maintain test strategies and plans for web/mobile and API services; define scope, acceptance criteria, environments, and test data.

- Create and execute manual and automated test cases (functional, integration, regression, smoke/sanity, UAT); apply risk-based and exploratory testing.

- Test non-functionals: performance (load/stress/soak with JMeter/k6), basic security (OWASP awareness), compatibility (cross-browser/device, i18n/l10n), and accessibility.

- Validate transactional flows - catalog, cart, checkout, payment, order, refund, loyalty—with attention to idempotency, data integrity, and error handling.

- Log, prioritize, and track defects in Jira; verify fixes and prevent regressions.

- Automate at the right layers (API/UI/component) and integrate into CI/CD with quality gates and clear reporting.

- Monitor quality metrics (pass rate, defect density, escaped defects, flaky tests) and recommend improvements to reduce risk and time-to-release.

- Partner with Engineering to refine acceptance criteria, improve testability/observability, and streamline the path to “production-ready.”

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics/Telecom, or related fields.

- 5+ years of software testing experience (manual and/or automation).

- Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum, test design techniques, and the test pyramid.

- Hands-on with Jira, Postman, Selenium/Playwright/Cypress, JMeter/k6 (or equivalents).

- Good SQL for validation; able to write test scripts and work with API (REST/GraphQL, OpenAPI).

- Experience with CI/CD-integrated testing and basic observability (logs/metrics/traces) is a plus.

- Background in E-Commerce, travel/airline/hospitality, or other high-transaction systems is preferred.
