Job Title: Officer, Trade & Customs (DSS)

Location: Molex Vietnam Hung Yen (Daily shuttle service from Hanoi/HaiDuong/ BacNinh)

Molex Vietnam has been operating its first factory at Thang Long Industrial Park I since 2007. Currently, Molex is investing in a NEW FACTORY located at Thang Long Industrial Park II, Hung Yen province, with a total investment of approximately 145 million USD, covering an area of 100,000 m² and divided into 3 phases. This factory will produce high-tech products, such as high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.

Position Summary

Responsible for liquidation activities, logistics coordination, and compliance with customs regulations, SAP processes, and ISO standards. Works closely with internal teams, vendors, and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the liquidation system; ensure accurate and efficient operation.
• Prepare reports for the General Director and Regional Logistics Manager.
• Coordinate liquidation work with the Finance team.
• Liaise with customs, tax authorities, and other external parties.
• Support Sourcing in vendor evaluation and management.
• Collaborate with Molex regional/global logistics teams.
• Stay updated on customs laws and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Propose cost‑improvement solutions in logistics and liquidation.
• Ensure compliance with 6S, Kaizen, EHS, RBA, and asset‑protection requirements.
• Support TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, and EH&S systems.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Bachelor’s degree
• Preferred: Finance, Economics, or Foreign Trade
  
  
  

Experience

• Required: Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Preferred: Experience in EPE companies
  
  
  

Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of EPE manufacturing processes & systems
• Strong understanding of customs and tax regulations
• Logical, global, and systematic thinking
• Familiar with SAP, ERP, ECUS
• Good communication, organization, teamwork, and leadership
• English proficiency and strong Excel skills
• Kaizen/innovation mindset
• Understanding of ISO, CSR, and EICC requirements
