OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an Information Security & Corporate IT Manager to strengthen our security and IT operations. In this role, you will work proactively to improve our company&039;s security and IT systems. You will create and carry out plans based on company situations, working closely with teams with a global organization. This position requires someone who can take initiative, set high standards, and bring the entire company on board to achieve objectives.

Information Security Governance:

Understand and implement control requirements and regulations from the information security department and the legal department in the headquarters.
Lead risk assessment processes and implement mitigation strategies
Manage security incident response procedures
Evaluate compliance with the group information security standards and implement improvements in the company operation.
Develop and conduct security awareness training programs tailored to the local context

Corporate Security & IT Operations:

Oversee network, endpoint, and device security management
Collaborate with teams in Japan to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining security
Hands- on management of devices, office facilities, software accounts, office network, IT help desk.
Improve and maintain Corporate IT operations for a 300+ employee organization, such as device and account management processes.
Manage local Corporate IT team members.
Aligning with the group direction to develop and implement security- conscious productivity solutions.

Essential:

Proven track record in implementing security programs and policies
Experience managing corporate IT infrastructure and operations
Strong logical thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Experience in corporate security, such as endpoint security, network security, and access management
Experience in risk management and security operations
8+ years of experience in IT/Security roles, with 2+ years in management positions
Understanding of information security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
Good communication skills in English

Preferred:

Experience in product security
Knowledge of Japanese business cultures
Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
Experience working in global organizations
Experience with cloud security and SaaS environments
Experience in zero- trust architecture

Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellence in stakeholder management and communication
Ability to balance security requirements with business needs
Self- motivated and able to work independently
Strategic thinker with strong problem- solving abilities
