​​SUMMARY

This is an administrative position involving various Accounts Receivable related functions, including the entry and maintenance of data relating to accounts receivable. It includes the planning and performing of various duties to collect and process data accurately and timely within the specifications of standard practice. It requires regular contact with internal as well as external customers via phone or email, supplying and seeking information tactfully and with discretion.​

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES ​

• ​Retrieve Cash Receipts for U.S. and Hong Kong daily.

• ​Update AR bank and cash sheet reconciling to the bank.

• ​Obtain customer remittances via e-mail, EDI and customer web sites.

• ​Problem solves payments by identifying pricing, quality, warranty, returns, etc. in preparation

​for posting in CMS.

• ​Post payments in CMS

• ​Enter posting on cash sheet and reconcile to bank and CMS each time entries are made.

• ​Perform AR collections, working with Customers and Summit Plants.

• ​Monitor and respond to emails in the general AR mailbox.

• ​Run CMS customer aging for collections as needed.

• ​Share daily work, as well as back up, for all AR Specialist duties.

• ​Assist month end and year end AR functions, sending AR intercompany statements to International Summit companies monthly, AR record retention/storage annually, External auditor requests annually.

• ​Reconcile U.S.and Hong Kong AR GL’s monthly

• ​Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.​

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

​​A minimum of 2 years of college or specialized training is preferred.  Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing environment is required.​ 

WORKING HOUR: 8PM TO 4:45AM

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

​​Possesses the ability to learn routines quickly, train others for routine positions and gather information.​ 

• A minimum score of ​ 50 ​ on the Wonderlic Select Assessment (Traditional score of 20 on the cognitive portion)
