- Material planning and procurement of the assigned assortment (including follow-up of timely and sufficient supply, with supplier correspondence)
- Developing strong strategic supplier relationships and promoting strategic supplier development
- Ensuring commodity prices used in purchase orders are correct supporting cost reduction programs and in compliance with Purchasing policy & procedures
- Analyzing the inventory of each commodity and establishing action plans to prevent and reduce excess and aging inventory
- Preparing and submitting weekly and/or monthly key performance index report
- Performing other tasks/functions assigned by superiors
