This position is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining an effective business partnering capability that will provide Business Units with timely and appropriate support, financial information and analytical tools to manage performance of the Business Units, control A&P budget, evaluate NPI and promotion campaigns. Core Job Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
- Commercials Partnering: Providing finance support to Marketing and other commercials partners in all aspects of Business Units such as review A&P Proposals, Quarterly Promotional Memos, Quarterly Performance Business review, preparing Brand PnL, SKU PnL and NPI business case… etc. to drive for strong business performance and sustainable growth.
- Budget Controlling: Supporting BU Manager to manage A&P forecast and actual spend within budget. Monthly provide analysis between actual and forecast, highlight risks and proactive working with Business to mitigate risks.
- Business Analysis: Liaising with Marketing and other commercials teams to do and analyze reports relating to the business units following the requirements from both local and regional stakeholders. Support Commercial finance manager to review pre and post evaluation of key activities and timely highlight results to Business for continuous improvement.
- Reporting: working with Marketing and other commercial team to consolidate and review A&P forecast by activities with relevant KPI, closely monitor/tracking spending vs budget, provide month-end accrual view and perform as check-point by scanning all supporting documents needed for accrual before sending to CFS for booking.
- Ad Hoc: Completing ad hoc assignments as requested by Finance Manager, Finance Controller or Finance Director
Minimum Background/ Experience Required
- 03 – 05 years of working experience in financial analysis or similar role
- Strong communication and analytical skills, good partnering with stakeholders.
- Solid foundation of accounting and have good understanding of reporting process.
- Able to connect the dot and able to understand comprehensive business workflow.
- Able to work under pressure to provide quick support for adhoc requests
- English proficient
- Good at MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Basis understanding of Power Query and Power BI.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Be proactive
- Be a fast leaner and willing to learn
- Details in working and passionate for high performance.
- Capable of timely and fast, accurate deliverables.
- Strong at adaptability.
