An established luxury hospitality business based in Ho Chi Minh City is looking for an hands-on Financial Controller to join its Corporate Office. This role reports directly to the Chairman and Executive Committee, with the opportunity to lead financial operations, shape business strategy, and contribute to the long-term success of a high-end hospitality property.

Description

As Financial Controller, you will:

Lead all core finance functions, including accounting, compliance, internal audit, tax, costing, and financial reporting.

Partner with the Legal & HR Manager to jointly oversee the Corporate Office.

Design and implement financial systems, policies, and procedures to support sustainable growth.

Manage annual budgeting, financial planning, and business performance tracking through KPIs and scorecards.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, cash flow control, asset reconciliation, and tax compliance.

Act as the key liaison with external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and professional advisors.

Support general management activities and represent the Chairman or Executive Committee when required.

Contribute to broader initiatives such as investment planning, operations improvement, and business development.

Help build internal capabilities in Finance, IT, and Purchasing functions across the Corporate Office.

Profile

To Succeed In This Role, You Should Have

Finance and accounting background, ideally with exposure to the hospitality or service sectors in Vietnam.

Prior record as a Financial Controller or Finance & Administration Manager.

A degree in Finance or Accounting; Chief Accountant certification is required.

Strong understanding of Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, and international practices.

Proven background working directly with ownership or board-level stakeholders.

A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and lead a small team.

Strong communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.

High levels of personal integrity, professionalism, and adaptability.
