Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

ABOUT THE JOB

• Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases for banking applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with development, business analysis, and product management teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Conduct root cause analysis of identified issues and work with developers to resolve them.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in test design reviews, requirements reviews, and other project meetings.
• Automate repetitive test cases and create automated test scripts.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Provide regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and test coverage.
  
  

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a software tester, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in using test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, Appium).
• Familiarity with banking applications and financial systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
