The Country Head of Finance reports to the Group CFO and oversees a shared service finance team across the Group’s portfolio businesses in Vietnam. This role partners with Business Unit (“BU”) leaders by leading the Group’s financial activities and improving financial controls and processes. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, taxation, financial operations, treasury, financial planning & analysis, and procurement.

Responsibilities

1. Accounting Management:

• Develop and maintain accounting policies, ensuring internal controls and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee financial reporting, including month-end/year-end closings and audits for accurate statutory accounts and tax filings.
• Lead ERP enhancements and continuous financial process improvements.

2. Tax and Treasury Oversight:

• Manage tax reporting, compliance, and payments.
• Supervise treasury operations, including cash management and banking relationships.
• Administer loan agreements and optimize cash flow management.

3. Operational Finance:

• Ensure timely financial closings and accurate records.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and procurement policies.

4. Strategic Financial Analysis:

• Prepare and monitor financial budgets.
• Collaborate with business partners to enhance financial planning and analysis.

5. Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement (Mainly):

• Monitor industry trends and identify strategic business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for operational efficiency and compliance.

• Minimum 10 years of related experience, including 5 years in managerial roles.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA, ACCA, or CIMA certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, and Vietnam taxation.
• Proven leadership, team management, bonding, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to establish processes, policies, and communicate effectively across departments.
• Fluent in English is a must.
