RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting
- Control and manage closing process
- Review the reporting packages made by all entities of the Group.
- Review consolidation package at GEO level and group level.
- Be responsible for consolidated accounting reports including monthly, quarterly, annually
- Conduct analysis and provide explanation on major variances every month
- Contribute to develop the group’s accounting manual and reporting guidelines
- Support checking and problem solving in difficult circumstances.
- Ensures compliance with group policies, company policies, internal controls.
- Coach all team members to fulfill tasks and reach higher quality of performance
- Back up country accounting managers when necessary
- Liaison with FP&A for monthly business review, ensure the quality and timeline of the report.
- Engage in due diligence if any.
- Manage group financial accounting teams
Taxation
- Review and be responsible for all tax matters at country and group level
- Ensure taxation compliance and optimization at all level
Treasury
- Be responsible for routine cash flow reports at country and group level
- Conduct overall variance and planning for cash flow streams for optimization
Project
- Engage in projects such as ERP implementation or enhancement
- Other ad-hoc projects as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Commitment to meet deadlines and achieve results in difficult circumstances
- Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions including strong communication
- Business mindset with business goal orientation
- Self-equip technical knowledge and skills to improve quality reports and procedures
- Work independently and manager reviews complex work only
- Bachelor's degree - major in accounting and auditing, or finance
- At least 5-year experience in the field of Finance and Accounting
- Experience in MNC/Trading/Retail environment is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of accounting/taxation work
- Understanding of Group structures and intercompany transactions
- Good at excel spread sheet is a must
- Can use ERP / SQL / Power query is preferred
