Job Summary
Procurement Manager is responsible for strategically sourcing, contracting, and managing the company's materials, products and services as assigned to support production and business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and implementing the group's strategic procurement of raw materials/products/services that align with the company's objectives and requirements, including trend monitoring, market research, supplier evaluation, and building effective partnerships.
Procurement Process Management: Ensure the procurement process is executed correctly and in compliance with the company's internal rules and procedures, including identifying procurement needs, supplier search, contract negotiation, order management, and post-purchase performance monitoring.
Monitor the implementation of contracts/purchase orders, and resolve any issues that arise during the supplier's contract execution to ensure on-time delivery.
Manage Purchase Orders according to the QUOTIF standard (QU - Quality: Meets required quality, OT - On Time: On time as required, IF - In Full: Full quantity as required) for any new Purchase Requests that arise during the year.
Analyze the market and control the supply sources to ensure the availability of raw materials/products/services both in the present and future.
Proactively share information and connect with other departments in handling issues related to delivery and quality.
Participate in the process of developing product standards and alternative raw materials/products/services.
Perform settlement and handle issues related to records, procedures, delivery, receipt, contract termination, and coordinate with the accounting department to complete payments to suppliers.
Report the work results and improvement proposals to the Procurement Senior Director.
Other Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an equivalent position at FMCG or food manufacturing companies is a major advantage
- Knowledge of procurement, with understanding and awareness of the raw materials/products/services marketplace
