ABOUT THE JOB
You will be responsible for behaving in accordance with NAB's Code of Conduct and demonstrating the Enterprise Behaviours in all customers, community, and employee interactions.
YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide mentorship to Junior Engineers within the Team and provide Technical Leadership in making key decisions and driving delivery outcomes.
- Provide support to customers of our services during business hours and in a rotating support roster due to the 24x7 nature of the services
- Work on Change Requests, Incidents, Defects and Problem Records
- Coaching & mentoring of other Service Team members
- Apply pro-actively & perform hands-on design and implementation of best practice CI/CD
- Implement & monitor quality metrics including trend analysis of discrepancies and defects; drive investigations into problems and correction actions relating to recurring problems
- Proactively address issues discovered in the software components, infrastructure, and scripts in the various environments
- Ensure that quality procedures defined for the position within the service are followed.
- Document quality procedures for the service
- Ensure that the SDLC procedures defined and documented followed within the service.
- Establish Quarterly/Yearly professional development goals
- Manage asset stakeholder and project relationships for features within the release
- Ensure the team adheres to the key dates and that any exemptions are known and mitigated
- Participate and manage the warranty period. Co-ordination of fixes and implementations during warranty
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years’ extensive experience of DevOps and SRE across all phases of software lifecycle
- Experience in Azure (preferred) and AWS cloud
- Experienced with AKS/EKS Kubernetes
- Experience in building CI/CD pipeline automation, tooling (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Docker) and Compliance as code
- Skills on AppDynamics, Splunk & OpenSearch or any kind of monitoring & observability tools
- Experience hands-on Infrastructure as Code abilities e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Python.
- Experience in development using Java, Spring Boot, Database Development skills, able to fix the defect and bug in applications
- Have an in-depth understanding of microservice architecture, API management, and distributed systems concepts
- Linux/Unix Scripting experience, good database programming skills in JDBC, Hysterix, PostgreSQL or Oracle database
- Knowledge in Linux (RHCSA\RHCE)
- Strong English communication, documentation, organization, and time management skills.
- Hands-On experience with Monitoring Tools Such as Splunk and AppDynamics or other similar products
