• Monitor and report on market, economic developments and changes related to different business sectors; Evaluate investment risks and opportunities, determine the best investment opportunities. Market research on business industries, financial markets, stock markets and related regulations and laws
• The fundamental research team, via long term observation, analyses and modelling of key economic & market drivers (e.g., GDP growth, inflation etc.), provide the bank’s ‘macroeconomic house view’ in collaboration with investment strategist and investment consellor
• Comprehensive understanding & analysis of the overall economic environment (incl. GDP growth, interest & FX rate trends and political developments)
• Recommend short-medium view on various asset classes (incl. analysis of short-term fluctuations)
• Collaborate with investment counsellors and various asset class specialists (e.g., fixed income, alternatives etc.)– provide inputs on developing asset allocation strategy for clients suitable with market conditions
• Support Head of Investment products and Advisory in analyzing and providing various types of market reports upon request
• Comply with the regulations of the Bank and segments on operations, giving accurate and adequate advice to customers .

1. Educational Qualifications

• University degree (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, ect…). CFA, CPA, FRM, ACCA, CPWA will be strongly preferred
• Having completed courses in financial analysis is an advantage
• Knowledge of asset modeling and projection platforms and processes applied in Investment Analytics is a strong plus
• Fundamental knowledge of asset modeling, security market risk analytics, issuer credit risk analytics, and/or investment portfolio analytics is a strong plus.

2. Relevant Knowledge/ Expertise

• Relevant prior experience: 2-4 year experience in investments analysis and/or an investing fields/ investment consulting/ financial markets background within a reputable financial institution, securities companies, asset management companies
• Be in-depth knowledgeable about investment strategy, financial & banking products and investment products

​3. Skills

• Understanding of international and domestic financial markets, investment products, and financial market products
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills 
• Ability to work independently and effectively in groups 
• English proficiency
• Candidates with skills in using data analysis tools such as Python/SQL/PowerBI is an advantage

4. Relevant Experience

• Prioritize candidates with experience in building investment strategies and managing investment portfolios, in funds/asset managment companies, fund managers specializing in securities, funds, PE, call for investment planning
• Prioritize candidates with experience in consulting and investment portfolio management for VIP customer

• Be proactive in work, making plan and following closely with the plan 
•  Always closely monitor international and domestic market information; Interact and coordinate closely with members of the Investment and Consulting departments, especially investment strategy experts, investment consultants and product experts; Coordinate with FMTB and investment strategy analysis departments of securities companies and fund management companies with which the bank has relationships
• Always comply, be honest and transparent, ensuring trust from leaders, colleagues and customers.
