ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is responsible for contributing to the development and delivery of SOAR playbooks used as automation and orchestration tool to automate operational activities. This will also play a vital role in contributing to the automation of complex system/operational tasks & processes aligning to DevOps best practice in order accelerate delivery and reduce costs.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and development of SOAR playbooks by converting existing Cyber Security processes and playbooks.
• Primary contact in supporting, maintaining and expanding SOAR integrations with key systems to support Cyber processes.
• Creation and maintenance of deployment tooling, including scripts, monitoring, logging, CI/CD pipelines.
• Building highly scalable and resilient technical solutions that enable rapid development and deployment.
• Continuous self-development and learning to maintain knowledge of best practice and latest technology developments.
• Perform “business-as-usual” technology management and support functions for security solutions within the Cyber Platforms and Engineering Portfolio.
• Perform problem diagnosis and use technical expertise to develop options and solutions to specific problems that are often technical in nature and lead to remediation, repair and recovery activity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet product roadmap and user needs.
• Lead in developing support documentation and provide advice regarding applications to enable the support function to work pro-actively
• Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to other team members where appropriate to support their skills and ensure their effective contribution to team objectives.
• Proficiency in creating Canvas, Model Driven and Power Pages apps backed by Dataverse.
• Proficiency in creating power automate cloud flows (triggers, actions, conditions) and Classic Data flows

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience in coding and scripting in latest programming languages (Python, Bash etc.)
• Experience of modern secure software development practices & mentoring teams to improve their practices.
• Building CI/CD pipeline automation, tooling (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Ansible and Bamboo) and Compliance as code.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience supporting server running both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience in presenting technical details to stakeholders with technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Proficiency in creating Canvas, Model Driven and Power Pages apps backed by Dataverse
• Proficiency in creating power automate cloud flows (triggers, actions, conditions) and Classic Data flows
• Expert in Power Query M formula language
• Proficient with DAX development
• Familiarity with the CDS data model, integration with Azure services and Power Platform / Power BI management
• Power BI development skills (Data modelling, visualisation, Power Query, BI concepts)
• Experience in effective, accessible and responsive UI/UX design
• Tertiary qualification in an IT discipline or related field
• IT Security related certification (E.g.: CISM, CISSP etc..)
• Relevant AWS/Azure certification
