I/ Scope and purpose of work:

Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. She serves as the first point of contact, assisting with reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries while upholding the highest standards of hospitality and service.

II/ Duties and responsibilities:

Warmly welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Confirm reservations and manage walk-in guests efficiently.

Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortably seated.

Provide menus and introduce guests to the restaurant’s offerings.

Communicate table availability and wait times to guests.

Address guest inquiries regarding menu items, promotions, and restaurant services.

Assist guests with special requests, such as dietary needs or seating preferences.

Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude to enhance the guest experience.

Work closely with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth guest flow.

Communicate guest preferences or special requests to servers and kitchen staff.

Listen to and address guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Resolve minor issues independently and escalate significant concerns to management when necessary.

Uphold the restaurant’s values and hospitality standards in all guest interactions.
