Job Description
As the Engineering Manager for Observability, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of regional engineers working on critical infrastructure and vendor pieces supporting the company's Observability verticals, while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring alignment with team and organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement Observability strategies, processes, and best practices around monitoring to improve the troubleshooting journey and reduce time-to-resolution of issues.
- Champion the adoption of Observability tools to improve awareness and adoption.
- You have 5 or more years of experience building software products and at least 3 years as a engineering manager or a team lead
- Experience with the Observability verticals (logs, metrics, and traces)
- Experience with operating bespoke logging pipelines at scale, e.g. Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Clickhouse
- Experience with vendor Observability products like Datadog, ServiceNow suite, etc. is a plus
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, and orchestration languages like Ansible.
- Fluency in any backend programming language like C++, Java, Golang, Python. Basic command line knowledge is a must.
- Experience operating in an environment with complex microservice architectures spanning numerous teams.
- Positive attitude and can-do mentality
- You have a strong background in software development, with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of software architecture
- You have good fluency in English (both written & verbal) and excellent communication skills

Tổng công ty Phân bón và Hóa chất Dầu khí, tên viết tắt: PVFCCo, mã chứng khoán DPM (HSX), là đơn vị thành viên của Tập đoàn Dầu khí Quốc gia Việt Nam. Thành lập từ năm 2003, chặng đường phát triển của PVFCCo đã trải dài qua 2 thập kỷ và đạt vị thế là đơn vị dẫn đầu trong ngành phân bón Việt Nam.
PVFCCo có đội ngũ nhân sự giàu kinh nghiệm với khoảng 1.500 người, sở hữu Tổ hợp Nhà máy hiện đại, bộ sản phẩm Phú Mỹ chất lượng cao, hệ thống kinh doanh phân phối sâu rộng, hàng năm cung cấp trên 1,2 triệu tấn phân bón và hóa chất cho thị trường nội địa và quốc tế.
