Job Description
- Identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their capabilities.
- Participate in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Collaborating with various internal departments to contact purchase orders.
- Inventory Management – analyzing demand, purchase and process component inventory.
- Supplier Management – managing current to ensure that orders are delivered by the committed date.
- Cost and Quality Management – enabling access to favorable pricing and conditions whilst maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Other tasks/duties assigned by the Head of Department/ Line Manager.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
- Good knowledge of OEM/ODM and import practices is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities and collaborative attitude.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple purchasing order and suppliers.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- High ethical standards and integrity in procurement practices.
