We are looking for passionate talents with diverse expertise to join our exciting projects ‒ ranging from developing PC, console, and mobile games in collaboration with our fellow studios, to creating new content and features for our live games, bringing joy to our players worldwide.

We're on the lookout for a passionate 3D Animator Supervisor/Lead to contribute their skills to our PC/Console and mobile game projects.

• Collaborate with the art and design teams to create visually compelling and engaging animations for game characters, creatures, and objects.
• Establish, document and communicate animation pipelines and best practices to ensure consistency across the project team.
• Understand and apply the available animation production pipeline and integration of animation into the game engines.
• Identify and resolve technical and artistic issues related to animations.
• Coordinate with tools and technology teams to develop the necessary solutions to create the best animations possible.
• Verify the quality of assets in the game, and make improvements where necessary to fit technical constraints, performance targets, and artistic direction.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to review animations and make certain that they satisfy their intended design.
• Participate in project planning and team execution supervision to meet project timelines & quality.
• Mentor Intermediate and Junior Animators.
• Manage and develop the Animation team.

Requirements

1. Technical capabilities

• High-quality portfolio of gamedev-relevant Animations, preferably with an emphasis on combat animation and stylization.
• Expert knowledge of keyframe animation principles and techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D animation software and workflows.
• Knowledge of rigging and skinning characters and objects for animation.
• Ability to create and refine character and object animation cycles and loops.
• An excellent understanding of game mechanics as they pertain to animating characters and objects.
• Being familiar with Unity and Unreal Engine would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of scripting and programming languages for creating animation tools and scripts is a plus.
• Expert knowledge of keyframe animation principles and techniques.

2. Artistic & creative abilities

• Deep understanding of animation principles, physics and character movement.
• Ability to animate both humanoid and non-humanoid characters, props, environment.
• Knowledge of cinematic storytelling, camera movement, visual language.
• Ability to provide feedback and guidance to improve the animation quality.
• Educated on the latest trends, coupled with a strong perspective on how they relate to our current and future projects.

3. Team management

• Good English proficiency.
• Leadership, ability to manage and develop team members.
• Proven experience in leading an animation team.
• Excellent communication to collaborate effectively with other departments and managers.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
