What You’ll Do
Typical Accountabilities
- Review and approve AZ materials, activities, and interactions in light of medicines promotion regulations and relevant AZ policies
- Consult: approval of local process and interpretation of local laws, policies, and local SOPs related to GPEI areas (Global Policy of Ethical Interaction); The development of complex projects.
- Train, assess knowledge, and track training on local SOPs regarding Nom Sig accountabilities
- Ensure the local Operating Unit is in compliance with the local regulations and global standards including those for nominated signatory governance, Medical Information, Field Medical, Medical Affairs, Patient Safety, Medical Study, delivery – interpretation – publication, and communication of data.
- As appropriate take part in audits and inspections as required
Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Qualified Doctor or Pharmacist
- Thorough knowledge and/or experience within the pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of medical products
- Comprehensive understanding of policies, procedures, and guidance, including product promotion and scientific exchange of information regulations.
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and external Codes of Practice relating to promotional activities.
- Extensive experience in relationship and stakeholder management
- Project management experience
- Degree in a scientific discipline
- Understanding of multiple aspects of the pharmaceutical industry
- Extensive knowledge of the latest technical, medical affairs, and regulatory developments
