We are looking for a Senior Java Developer eager to take on new challenges and make a real impact. As a Senior Java Developer at Endava, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software solutions in an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and the client to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices with cloud integration
- Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing
- Promote clean code principles (e.g., SOLID, GoF, MVVM) and suggest improvements
- Mentor junior developers and review team deliverables
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and architecture
- Stay current with new technologies and engage in tech communities
- Share experience and knowledge gained from projects.Technical Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in Java Back-end development.
- Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experienced with design and architectural patterns (e.g., SOLID, GoF, MVVM).
- Familiarity with modern architectural styles (microservices, cloud-based, micro-kernel) and quality attributes.
- Practical experience in databases: SQL, Oracle, MS SQL, and ORM tools.
- Experienced with modern CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experienced with Agile & Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
Soft Skills:
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Experienced in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
