This hybrid role combines people leadership with end to end project management to deliver reliable workplace technology experiences that uplift colleague productivity and support NAB’s broader transformation agenda.

You will lead and develop a team within Workplace Delivery while simultaneously manage complex technology projects across our Workplace platforms. You will support high quality delivery outcomes, ensure team performance and well-being, and drive operational excellence across both people and project domains.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

People Leadership (50%)

• Manage a multi‑disciplinary team of technical and delivery professionals (between 5 and 15) of both permanent and contingent staff including: project managers, developers, quality managers and other workplace roles as required.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing, culturally diverse team, including career development, goal setting, feedback, and ongoing performance management.
• Foster an engaged, inclusive and safe team culture, aligned to NAB values and Workplace Delivery expectations.
• Support workforce planning, role clarity, capability uplift, and resource allocation across the portfolio.
• Provide regular communication, direction and prioritisation to ensure the team is focused, supported, and effective.
• Manage escalations, well-being, recognition, and day‑to‑day leadership responsibilities as the team’s primary People Leader.
• Represent Workplace Delivery within the Workplace Transformation Leadership Team, shaping strategic direction, contributing to cross‑portfolio alignment, and providing regular executive‑level insights and updates
• Embed Well‑Managed practices across both people and delivery domains, ensuring adherence to NAB controls, risk processes, and technology governance
• Manage senior business, technology and external vendor stakeholders, ensuring alignment, prioritisation, and clear communication
• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

Project Management (50%)

• Manage tracking of projects, issues, risks, defects and all phases of project delivery.
• Provide support for technical resources raising required changes or governance documentation as needed for technical implementation or removing project blockers
• Ensure operational readiness is completed before production release
• Plan and coordinate successful delivery or migration of new and existing applications
• Working closely with Change, Communications and User Experience teams to manage successful organisational change readiness for projects and initiatives
• Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements as required at NAB during the lifecycle of project delivery
• Ability to facility and manage tender related activities including RFT, negotiation, tender review, etc
• Oversee completion of solutions, high level design and detailed designs. Manage design traceability to requirements
• Ability to generate plans: schedule, finance, deliverable, testing, quality, etc, in the process of project delivery
• Ensure all delivery work is managed through the enterprise tool suite meetings NAB’s standards and controls including reporting and escalation.
• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must have

• Strong people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and building engaged teams.
• 5+ years’ experience delivering large and complex projects including cloud, security, app development, multi-vendor and complex dependencies
• Excellent communication skills. Good organisational, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills to support various technical groups that will be involved in delivery
• Good knowledge and experience of infrastructure technologies
• Experience with documentation/user manuals/technical writing to assist with the organisational change involved with staff experience of these new technologies
• Expertise with working through complex technology solutions and problem solving in all phases of delivery as required
• Experience with multiple project management methodologies

Nice-to-have

• Experience working in large enterprise organisations e.g. banking
• Degree in Computer Science, Information System or similar
• Project Management Professional (PMP certification preferred)
• Exposure to modern technology delivery environments, including AI, automation, integrations (API/microservices), cloud/EUC/digital workplace solutions, web and cloud technologies, and low‑code/no‑code or light application development within a project delivery context.
