As a Chief Accountant (for Overseas entities), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the accounting system, financial reporting, and control processes of overseas entities. You will collaborate closely with various departments to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance (markets: Cambodia, India, Japan, Indonesia). Specifically: 1. Set up accounting system for new established overseas entities - Ensure the compliance of the accounting system with company’s policies & local authorities regulation. - Manage team (3-5 members) to ensure daily bookkeeping activities 2. Financial Reporting - Prepare and analyze financial statements for the overseas market, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Generate timely and insightful financial reports for management review, highlighting key performance indicators and trends. - Work with external auditors for annual audit. 3. Internal Controls and Compliance - Establish and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, addressing any deficiencies or discrepancies promptly. 4. Treasury Management - Manage cash flow, liquidity, and foreign exchange risk for the overseas market, optimizing working capital and minimizing financial risks. - Coordinate banking relationships and negotiate favorable terms for banking services and facilities. 5. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of audit in Big4, or business finance, or other relevant experience - English fluently (in 4 skills) - High proficiency in financial modeling techniques - Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics - Strong analytical and data gathering skills - Good business acumen Personality and Interpersonal Skills - Detail oriented, due care, resilient - Strong quantitative and analytical competency - Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow - Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills - Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently - Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
