Job Summary:

The Canteen Chef de Partie will prepare and cook large batches of food that will be served to all Heartist working on Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Oversees and directs workers assisting with the preparation and serving of meals.

Coordinate with T&C department to come up with a daily menu for heartist.

Plan and prepare special menus to serve staff on special days

Cleans, cuts, prepares, and cooks meat, fish, or poultry to a safe temperature.

Prepares and cooks various items according to menus, special dietary or nutritional requirements, or numbers of portions to be served.

Bakes breads, rolls, and pastries.

Apportions and serves food to Heartist.

Washes cooking equipment such as pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other pieces.

Develops, compiles, and maintains food records regarding use and expenditures.

Inventories supplies and equipment.

Determines, or assists in determining, meals, menus, and prices.

Ensures the cleanliness and functional operation of galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas by routinely cleaning and inspecting each piece.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge And Experience

• Graduated from vocational/ college/university in preferably in culinary, hospitality or related fied

• Demonstrate ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.

• Food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency.

• Ability to read and write English

Competencies

• Vocational Certificate on Culinary Skills or relative field

• At least 01 years’ experience as a chef, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
