MAIN DUTIES SUPPORT TO:

• Review/verification for completeness of supporting documentation for all daily "city ledger" folios and follow-up on missing documents.
• Transfer of daily city ledger check-out folios to accounts receivable ledger (Fidelio)
• Creating of new debtor accounts in Fidelio system.
• Performing credit reference checks for all credit account facility applications.
• Preparation of "debit notes" for daily mail out to debtors.
• Daily verification of individual credit card vouchers to Fidelio credit card settlement report and batch total summaries, follow up on discrepancies.
• Daily update of credit card settlements to accounts receivable (Fidelio).
• Action of refunds due for incorrect credit card settlements.
• Processing of request for manual credit card settlements for late charges.
• Action of adjustments/corrections required on daily city ledger check-out folios.
• Issuing of receipts for debtor payments.
• Action of all debtor queries on a timely basis.
• Preparation of monthly debtor statements.
• Performing monthly reconciliation for all debtor accounts.
• Follow up on all overdue debtor invoices and maintain detailed "activity" log of action taken for individual debtor accounts.
• Maintain records of authorised "barter" transactions on debtor accounts.
• Posting of daily payments from debtors to individual accounts and applying of same against appropriate outstanding invoices.
• Posting of credit card Company payments received and applying of same against appropriate individual outstanding credit card charges.
• Daily filing of all debtor invoices.
• Daily filing of all documents relating to debtor payments received/processed
• Performing end of day shift close procedures (Fidelio).
• Preparation of month-end accounts receivable reports.
• Preparation of supporting schedules/information for monthly city ledger review meeting.

• Diploma education
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an office administrative role or 1 year of experience in a similar capacity
• Working English (reading, writing and oral proficiency) is a plus;
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
• Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
• National under local contract
