PHÂN BÓN VÀ HÓA CHẤT DẦU KHÍ

The purpose of the position is to support the Planning and Finance Office at VJU. The candidate will be responsible for processing accounting documents, maintenance of accounts, preparation and revision of external and internal financial reports inclusive of budgetary control and tax declaration.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Duty 1: Ensure documentation relating to payments is duly in accordance with the law and regulations by authorities and approved by management system of VJU.
• Duty 2: Prepare payment and accounting documents/financial reports according to the accounting regulations and guidelines/donor requirement. Check budget lines to ensure that all transactions are correctly booked to the correct budget lines.
• Duty 3: Prepare and make transaction with bank and treasury. Prepare and submit the periodic tax declaration, filing of return, etc.
• Duty 4: Facilitate the adherence to the organization accounting procedures. Development of budget monitoring, maintaining financial records, management of cash imprest and accounts reconciliations (with banks, treasury, tax station, etc).
• Duty 5: Undertake preparation of accounts for audit and facilitate the adherence to the organization accounting procedures. Conduct periodic bank reconciliations, revenue and cost reconciliations and maintain records on file.
• Duty 6: Continuously improve systems & procedures to enhance internal controls to satisfy audit requirements and laws.
• Duty 7: Other duties as assigned by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experiences

• Education:

Bachelors degree in related fields to the job position (Accounting/Finance). Professional qualifications in CPA or CFA will be preferred.

• Working experiences:

Minimum 2 years of working experiences in financial budgeting, accounting, financial analyzing. Working experiences in finance in public sector in general or higher education environment in particular will be preferred.

• Foreign language: English with IELTS 6.5.
• Preferred skills:
• Proficient computer skills: Accounting software, tax declaration software, Microsoft Office, Searching tools, Financial analysis software/tools…
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deadlines commitment.
• Demonstrates good judgment; approachable and professional; problem solving skills; ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated; well organized.
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral) and teamwork skills.
• Logical thinking.
• Attitudes:
• High commitment to deadline.
• Highly responsible toward work.
• Responsibility, accountability and services oriented.

Salary and Benefit

Successful candidate will be offered an attractive remuneration package comprising of:

• Basic monthly salary: negotiable;
• Monthly meal allowances: 700,000 VND;
• Social and health insurance: in accordance with the law and regulation

Recruitment process

• Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview.
• Successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract after 2 months of probation. The Incumbent can be offered another 2-year contract or indefinite duration contract upon the satisfaction of his/her performance.
