The Fixed Assets Accountant is responsible directly for the general financial maintenance of the fixed assets. This position is also to assist the training and management of the fixed asset staff accountant(s). This role is accountable for the accurate reporting and classification of the fixed assets. The scope of this position's responsibilities includes all domestic companies, as well as some lesser responsibilities regarding the foreign subsidiaries.

• Ongoing review and accounting for the fixed assets, review and assist with accounting department for the fixed assets of the other subsidiaries and assist the fixed assets team with daily functions;

• Review and provide recommendations for planning and executing fixed asset inventory audits;

• Facilitate training of new staff accountants and provide support to the fixed asset team;

• Annual audit tasks relating to fixed assets (flexibly required);

• Create and manage the annual Capital Expenditure budget;

• Collaborate with a variety of departments to ensure budgetary integrity in their work and projects;

• Prepare fixed asset capitalization records - review/analyze detail, data entry and account reconciliation. Work with the Tax Department for proper coding of assets. Coordinate the monthly update of fixed assets;

• Generate reports and analyze information to aid in the recommendation of accounting treatment of capital expenditure;

• Develop, implement, and monitor all necessary and proper accounting controls/procedures related to fixed assets, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documentation;

• Generate ad hoc reporting to aid managers, departments and other stakeholders as requested;

• Bachelor 's Degree withFinanceorAccountingmajororhave strongbackground;
• At least2 - 3 years of experience inFixed Assets Accounting, Required;
• Willing to work in the US timezone;
• Good English (4 skills)and confident in communication;
• Good attitude, willing-to-learn;
• Hard working, carefully, detail oriented;
