As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SharePoint Online/Azure solutions to meet business requirements. The candidate will be responsible for partnering with the stakeholders and business team members to support Sales, Services, and Marketing. What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain SharePoint Application (SPFx): Support users when they have requirements for updating functions in SharePoint Apps.
- Maintain PowerApps applications: Edit flow, interface, and functionals when having requirements from users.
- Support users in using SharePoint Online.
- Develop new applications using SPFx or PowerApps based on user’s requirements.
- Receive tickets from team lead, and stakeholders. Support to implement new features, and fix bugs.
If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
- Basic understanding of SharePoint Online .
- Familiarity with SPFx development for creating modern web parts and extensions.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with PowerApps, Power Automate (Flow), and Power BI for customizing SharePoint and creating workflows.
- Understanding of integrating SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, OneDrive, Outlook).
- Basic skills in C# and ASP.NET for creating custom SharePoint solutions.
- Understanding of SQL queries for working with SharePoint databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of SharePoint document libraries, lists, metadata, and content types.
- Understanding of SharePoint permissions management: create group, permission level, grant permission…
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot SharePoint issues.
- Basic knowledge of how to optimize SharePoint performance.
- Understanding of error handling and logging.
- Good communication skills to work in a team and liaise with business users.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on SharePoint developments and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail when building solutions to ensure quality.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage tasks effectively.
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment (preferred but not essential for junior roles).
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and other SharePoint development tools.
- Knowledge of modern web frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js (for SPFx development).
- Understanding of SharePoint security concepts, such as permissions, site collections, and user roles.
- Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer Associate or similar.(Preferred but not required)
- Any other relevant Microsoft 365 certifications. (Preferred but not required)
