In this role, you will be instrumental in the Attribute Team, using your extensive skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Engineering, Quality Control and VINFAST suppliers, to create cutting-edge solutions that will drive the future of transportation.

• Jointly work with VinFast Team and External Service Supplier (ESP) to guarantee the Electric Vehicle Thermal Systems are developed and validated to the Vehicle Technical Specifications (VTS) requirements.
• Lead regular review sessions with ESPs and VinFast to jointly collaborate with the virtual and physical design proposals. Also, we must develop action plans for root cause analysis and providing technical solutions for challenges and mitigation as required.
• Periodic reports to the Vehicle Attribute Integration Manager on status of the Vehicle Thermal Management development and validation progress and escalate critical issues to Vehicle Chief Engineer
  
  

Requirements

Education/ Professional knowledge:

• Mechanical/Electrical Engineering bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years with EV Thermal Management architecture, including Cabin HVAC, Power Electronics Cooling and Battery Heating & Cooling
• Project Management fundamentals
  
  

Skill, Experience

• 5 years experience with electric vehicle thermal loops effectiveness.
• 5 years in balancing the electric vehicle thermal system - Cabin HVAC, Power Electronics Cooling and Battery Heating & Cooling
• Experience working cross-functionally with system owners to lead improvements and find best optimal balance to achieve electric vehicle thermal management
• Have analytical mindset to lead ESPs to deliver results of high standards with sound analysis.
• 5 years experience with vehicle thermal efficiency in terms of leading CAE simulations to achieve optimal thermal balance
• Experience with testing an electric vehicle on the road and in a Climatic Wind Tunnel
• Develop and update electric vehicle thermal requirements for Cabin HVAC, Power Electronics Cooling and Battery Heating & Cooling
• Market trend and benchmarking knowledge with Electric Vehicle Thermal Systems

• Leadership and expertise in managing conflicts among multi functional engineering teams
• Domain of engineering fundamentals of Vehicle systems (EVs)
• Supplier development with strategic cooperation to support development/validation activities
• Skilled for Problem solving, analytical thinking and presenting result-oriented behavior
• Attention to detail and able to manage more than one task at a time.
• Assertive and presenting very good analytical skills.
• Discretion in dealing with confidential/sensitive information.
