Main Duties
- Ensures that all members of the team are aware of the company mission, live the values and are consistent in their behavior to enable excellence in serving and anticipating guest needs.
- Ensures that an organized, up-to-date filing system is maintained for all personnel records.
- Ensures all employment practices are in keeping with local legislation.
- Liaises with the local authorities for all related matters as assigned by owner presentative
- Prepare monthly HR reports and personnel commentary for P&L Report
- Focuses attention on improving productivity levels and the need to prudently manage utility/ payroll costs within acceptable guidelines ensuring optimum deployment and energy efficiency of all equipment.
- Manages the employee canteen staffing and the food quality at the canteen.
- Organizing all Employee Activities.
- Manages the Human Resources computer systems to effectively manage payroll.
- Lead recruitment activities which ensure that the hotel has the right talent in the right role.
- Manages the recruitment advertisements that reinforces the corporate identity and projects a professional image.
- Co-ordinates and arranges Inquiry Meeting for Disciplinary Action Procedures.
- Maintains close relationship with academic institutions and hotel schools.
- Ensures consistent and fair Grievance handling and Misconduct management providing professional counselling and coaching to correct inappropriate behaviours.
- Delegates as appropriate the duties and responsibilities necessary to trained employees who are well equipped and resourced to correctly accomplish these tasks.
- Ensures that employees have a complete understanding of the hotel Work Rules and Regulations, and that their behaviour complies. Corrects inappropriate behaviour in accordance with policy.
- Monitors employee morale and provides honest performance feedback and development opportunities.
Other Duties
- Maintains high personal standards of timekeeping, always present for duty as scheduled.
- Attends and participates in Briefings/Meetings as required.
- Is fully familiar with the hotel Work Rules and work regulations governing employees and their behaviour and ensures these are always accurately communicated and carefully followed.
- Takes an active involvement in the welfare, safety, development and well-being of employees.
- Provides guidance, advice, counselling and transparent diplomatic feedback as appropriate.
- Provides sufficient training, development and learning opportunities to ensure that employees are developed to their full potential, and are confident.
- Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming, acting as a positive role model.
- Prudently balances resources and standards of service to meet the financial goals of the hotel, Company Standards and guest expectations.
- Ensures that Company Strategies, initiatives, communications and Employee Information pieces are appropriately communicated to employees in a timely manner.
- Exercises responsible practices and personal behaviour at all times, positively representing the hotel Team and Company Standard
- Responds to requests to undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties and adjust to changes as dictated by hotel, industry and company.

- Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources roles, with at least 2 years in managerial level
- Knowledge of local Labour Laws
- Up-to-date on HR trends and practices in the market
