The Position

We are looking for an engineer to develop the industrial firewall that provide real-time protection for industrial automation assets and endpoint devices.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Development:
  • Design and develop robust firewall software components.
  • Implement and optimize firewall rules and policies to enhance security and performance.
• Collaboration and Feature Development:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and help maintain code quality.
• Maintenance and Improvement:
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve existing processes and systems.

What We Need From You:

• Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Expertise in frontend development using React and related technologies (Redux, Hooks, etc.).
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, including database design, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.

It Would be Nice If You Have:

• Network and Security:
  • Familiarity with network protocols and their functionalities.
  • Understanding of firewall concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with network protocols and security best practices.
  • Understanding of security best practices and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
• Technologies and Tools:
  • Experience using Redis.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of DevOps tools and practices.
• Performance and Testing:
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of network applications.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and practices.
