- Ensure that daily and monthly production targets are achieved at the expected level of quality in the assigned area. In charge for employee absenteeism rate, labor turnover rate, discipline at their supervision area to ensure the produced hours as per daily set target.
- Attend pre-production and pilot appraisal meetings to educate Sewing Team Members, Supervisors, and in-line quality checkers on product and quality specifications. Identify and solve issues about shortfalls or non-conformance, educate and guide Sewing Team Members to eliminate the root cause of product variation to minimize defect.
- Monitor the efficiency of Sewing Team Members, guide them together with the Supervisors to maintain planned efficiency and output levels and to ensure the on-time delivery with right quality. Ensure all sales orders in their area will be closed according to system's requirements.
- Coordinate with Industrial Engineering & Technical team, Lean team, Sewing Supervisors to perform the following duties to ensure a smooth flow in production by balancing the lines to eliminate bottlenecks:
- Training Multi Skills Members, combining operations, and fine-tuning the workflow of the line.
- Observing the workflow and making suggestions for work and method improvement.
- Training Sewing Team Members to enhance their skill base and skill level.
- Lead, guide, and motivate Sewing Team Members, Sewing Supervisors and participate in the development and the application of the knowledge transfer process to optimize team performance.
- Ensure the safety procedures are adopted and Sewing Team Members are properly attired as per factory requirements.
- Adhere to ISO 9000, buyer’s compliance, 5S practice, and any other international standards adopted by the company.
- Other tasks as assigned by Manager.
