The Position

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact team working on our flagship product — a cornerstone of secure enterprise communications. As part of a fast-growing cybersecurity company, you’ll help build a product that enables organizations to safely and efficiently transfer sensitive files across systems, platforms, and global networks.

In this role, you will lead a group of smart, driven engineers who are eager for mentorship and growth. Your in-depth experience in .NET development, strong leadership instincts, and passion for cybersecurity will set the direction for the team and influence the future of our solution — already one of the company’s fastest-growing and most strategic products.

You’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across Vietnam and the U.S., working at the intersection of system architecture, security, and enterprise integration.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to a team of talented system and front-end engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product management and senior management teams in the USA to align strategies, set priorities, and drive product development efforts.
• Oversee and manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions across a range of technologies and platforms.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team's skillset remains competitive and relevant.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Continuously monitor and analyze product performance, driving improvements to maintain our position as a market leader.
• Perform and/or coordinate technology security assessments.
• Outline details required to develop Scopes of Work.
• Communicate issues and resolve escalations with customer-facing teams like Support and Sales.
• Drive technology roadmaps, manage initiatives, and manage project lifecycles.
• Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering team.
  
  
  

What We Need From You

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a tech lead or hands-on manager of engineering teams.
• Expertise in .NET development (especially C#), including backend systems, APIs, and enterprise application architecture.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments, system-level programming, and integration with secure file systems.
• Understanding of networking, file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS), and enterprise security best practices.
• Strong background in system design, software lifecycle management, and agile development.
• Strong coding, problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
• A passion for leading through influence, building trust, and developing people.
• Experience working in global teams and effectively collaborating with cross-border stakeholders.
• Good English communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complexity and multiple priorities.
• Good organization, coordination, and project management skills.
  
  
  

It Would be Nice if You Had

• Experience with modern frontend stacks or UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of secure file transfer standards, encryption protocols, and secure design principles.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, and .NET Core.
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Bitbucket, TeamCity, Jira, and Confluence.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC practices.
