The Position

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will focus on extending and maintaining a unique, exciting secure network access solution. You will have a strong software programming background with the right personality to lead and set an example for the software development team. The Senior Software Engineer works across software and hardware, you will oversee the development of solutions to be used on-premises and in Cloud.

What You Will Be Doing

• Working in close alignment with Engineering Manager and Product Owner
• Analyzing requirements, exploring system features and defining functionality of applications
• Proposing changes to the current codebase and following through with refactoring, changing and extending it
• Performing the code reviews, writing unit tests
• Creating relevant documentation
• Providing recommendations for continuous improvement
• Providing mentorship for other members of the Engineering Team
• Working alongside other engineers (and engineering teams) to build quality, secure and up-to-date applications
  
  
  

What We Need From You

• 3+ years’ experience in software development.
• Has experience with NodeJS/TypeScript.
• Experience with a range of AWS technologies, such as Container Services, Serverless Framework, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Experience using, creating, and maintaining REST APIs.
• Software Design experience.
• Experience with agile development, rapid release cycles, and implementing customer-oriented solutions.
• Experience with Git, BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, TeamCity (or the equivalent).
  
  
  

It Would be Nice if You Had

• Has knowledge of C++, C#.
• Experience in networking, VPN and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing on multiple platforms (e.g.: Linux, Windows, mobile).
• Reasonable understanding of OWASP Top 10, common vulnerabilities and exploitations.
• Pre-intermediate / intermediate English Level.
