The MAS Project Manager has the overall "regulatory/technical responsibility" for supporting in developing, implementing and optimizing Market Access operations and projects in Vietnam for all relevant business fields, while serving as the interface between external customers, Government Authorities, Certification Bodies, Agents/partners, internal customers like TR MAS colleagues, TR Business Operations, TR Certification, TR Retail team, Global Market Access team.
Market Access Services (MAS):
- Manage MAS projects. This includes: arranging meetings and communicating with customers and other business partners, collecting quotations from subcontractors (if any), calculating of quotation prices, coordinating project activities between the involved parties, etc. Ensure that orders from customers are fulfilled as agreed, accurately, and within scheduled time.
- Based on international and local regulatory requirements, provide any Market Access Country of Origin (CoO) and Country of Destination (CoD) Services to internal and external customers.
- Perform researches and project coordination/ management between all internal and external interfaces.
- Ensure that the market access services and relevant business lines are on top of the latest regulatory requirements and updates.
- Support and coordinate the development of local operational market access services portfolio to provide a one-stop, global market access service for testing and certification of electrical components and products as well as other business field products.
- Support the collaboration with business stream and business field managers to create and develop new cross-business and cross-regional opportunities.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams by providing technical support/ training/ seminars/ information related to regulations, etc.
- Constantly aim to make clients more successful through meeting their needs, and allow technical updates and information related to the services to flow quickly and effectively to the appropriate employees.
- Optimize customer satisfaction through managing the MAS processes in a timely, cost effective, professional and accurate manner.
- Ensure operational excellence achievement, and ensure that improvement activities and methods are continuously and consistently applied.
- Update technical information through the hierarchy to department staff members.
- Execute any relevant administrative work when needed.
Factory Inspection (FI):
- Undertake necessary actions to obtain factory inspector qualification.
- Deliver quality FI services in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
Other related activities:
- Write test plans, test result summaries and test reports.
- Support testing activities in laboratory (if required).
- Execute any relevant administrative work when needed.

Technical or university degree or above in relevant field
- Good communication, writing and negotiation ability in English and local language
- About three years of working experience in Market Access Services or International Approvals. Alternatively, five years or more of working experience in an international TIC industry environment
- Experience in positions with client
- Expert in international regulatory environment, schemes and regulations
- Experience and effectiveness in liaising with regulatory authorities, certification bodies and clients
- Good understanding of Quality Management System (QMS)
- Being familiar with QMS and Inspections standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 17020 and ISO 17025
- Experience with Electrical Safety, and basic knowledge in Electrical Safety standards such as IEC 60335-1 and IEC 62368-1
- Ability to embrace and promote changes to seize opportunities in any Market Access Services
- Ability to execute operation excellence
- Ability to work as translation between English and local language for daily business projects and operations
- Experience in research and summarize skill
- Interpersonal skills, intercultural understanding and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds
