Medical Affairs Assistant Manager develops and executes medical plans and related activities & tasks to support the commercial and relevant functions of the organization.

1. Develops and executes Medical Plans and activities for assigned categories/ brands.
2. Acts as medical information resource, providing updated and relevant medical data including: (a) review and approval of the medical content of promotional materials developed by Marketing & Trade Marketing, (b) providing appropriate medical references & studies for promotional materials development (i.e, brochures, posters, product advertisements, Group Product Presentations) and (c) assist the marketing function in answering medical/product questions from doctors/pharmacist/end-users/sales force, (d) supports sales force by providing medical information or clinical studies requested by MDs, key opinion leaders, key pharmacists and other important customers, and (e) updates medical trends of key and relevant therapeutic areas to Marketing people and key sales persons to assist them in developing new products and new markets.
3. Lead in the coordination and implementation of various continuing medical education (CME) programs and other medical engagement activities to support the commercial organization, including working with KOLs and HCP speakers in the conduct of these activities.
4. Develops/ designs/ updates/ approves the medical & product training programs for Sales and Marketing staff as part of induction program and regular medical and product knowledge updating.
5. Gives medical input in key projects / marketing plans/activities as required; supports marketing & sales force to organize CMEs, medical events, symposia, and other customer engagement activities with medical content in the program.
6. Builds good relationship with key opinion leaders and key medical organizations nationwide to support the company's business interests.
7. Prepares the package inserts of assigned brands and works with Marketing/RA to achieve timely product registration by providing package inserts, medical references & content for product claims…on time.
8. Writes and updates (if necessary) Pharmacovigilance Guideline/ Product Quality Complaint Handling Guideline to get approval of GM before implementing.
9. Reports adverse reactions to GM, company's headquarter and Centre of Drug Information and Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring of Vietnam (if necessary) follow SOP.
10. Prepares & conducts pre/post marketing survey to MDs for new product launch upon request (i.e. Designs Clinical Report Form on seeding trial programs/ local clinical trials, in coordination with Brand Management team & Office of Regulatory Affairs).
