SCOPE OF WORK

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Reporting professional to manage group consolidation, month-end closing, and treasury coordination across a diversified integrated resort group. This role oversees financial reporting, including rental pool structures involving individual unit owners. The position is critical in ensuring accurate group-level financials, owner transparency, intercompany alignment, and effective fund flow management.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Duties may include but not limited to:

1. Group Consolidation & Financial Reporting

• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial statements, incorporating resort operations, development entities, rental pool programs, and holding companies.
• Perform intercompany eliminations, equity accounting, and multi-currency translations.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local statutory reporting frameworks.

2. Month-End Closing

• Lead the group-wide month-end closing process, coordinating with local finance teams.
• Review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting submissions to ensure accuracy and cut-off compliance.
• Maintain closing calendars and process checklists for timely consolidation and reporting.

3. Rental Pool & Owner Reporting

• Manage financial tracking of rental pool revenue and expenses, including owner allocation and reserve funding.
• Reconcile owner ledgers and prepare owner income statements and distribution reports.
• Ensure transparency and compliance with rental agreements and legal obligations.

4. Treasury Coordination

• Monitor intercompany loan accounts, capital contributions,
• Support cash flow forecasting and coordinate with treasury and legal teams to ensure efficient and compliant fund movement, including FX exposure tracking.
• Liaise with banks, local finance teams, and legal counsel on banking documentation, KYC, and fund flow planning.

5. Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate with external auditors on year-end and interim audits, preparing audit schedules and responding to queries.
• Ensure all entities are audit-ready with clean and documented reconciliation trails.
• Maintain internal controls, SOPs, and accounting policy consistency across the group.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification required
• 7–10+ years of experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, and treasury, ideally within the hospitality, real estate, or resort industry
• Hands-on experience with rental pool or owner-managed structures preferred
• Advanced Excel and strong command of consolidation/reporting tools (e.g., SAP BPC)
• Familiarity with multi-currency accounting, FX translation, and treasury cash pooling
• Experience with PMS/POS/owner accounting systems such as Opera, or similar
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage financial operations and compliance
• Skilled in coordinating with internal departments, banks, and external advisors
• Effective communicator and team collaborator in multi-entity
• Exposure to development-to-operation transitions in resort projects
• Knowledge of cash repatriation, and withholding tax.
