Position: Officer/Senior Officer/Principal Officer in SOC Monitoring and Investigation

Job description

• SOC Research and Development: Analyze malware and internal software to ensure security prior to deployment.
• Incident Investigation and Response: Conduct threat hunting, analysis, detection, and tracing processes. Receive, analyze, investigate, and handle alerts regarding risks, cyberattack threats, and security incidents.
• SOC Monitoring: Collect data, monitor, detect, analyze, mitigate, and respond to network threats. Monitor and investigate suspicious activities and potential attack threats on the network and system. Issue alerts, check, analyze, and determine the scope of threats, and resolve system issues. Identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents in the system.
• SOC Alert Creation: Develop rules and use cases to detect new attack/exploitation techniques. Build and deploy testing environments for rules and use cases.
• SOC Solution Administration and Integration: Implement, manage, and operate security systems, including security monitoring and control systems such as AV, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, IPS/IDS, WAF, in both On-Premise and Cloud environments. Develop operational processes and documentation.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree from a full-time program.

• Major: Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Electronics and Telecommunications, Computational Mathematics.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of security systems such as FW/IPS/WAF/SIEM/Web-Filter, SOAR, EDR/XDR, Sandbox, Threat Intelligence, and APT attack prevention.
• Foundational knowledge and understanding of web attacks, server system attacks, and IT infrastructure.
• Proficient in programming in some popular languages (C, C++, Python, Java...).
• Proficient in using security monitoring, investigation, and analysis tools, reverse engineering tools, and malware analysis

Experience:

• Officer: 1 - 3 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Senior Officer: 3 - 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Principal Officer: 5 - 7 years of experience in cybersecurity
