Your Role

The way cars, machines and equipment are produced is becoming more and more complex and due to the increase of variances and the drive to reduce cost, and at the same time improve quality, puts a lot of challenges to our customers in MVI. This trend requires new techniques and solutions. Atlas Copco continues to innovate and part of our new strategy is to transform from a pure tool selling to a solution selling company. A crucial part of the new strategy is Digitalization and Automation with that widen our offerings to MVI customers enabling them to digitalize processes related to our core business.
As part of our Strategy 2022-2024 we are seeking for an ambitious and strong contributing individual to take up the position as Project/ Product Engineer in Vietnam.

Job Description

  • Providing day-to-day technical and marketing support to the sales team, distributors and customers
  • Coordination, preparation and presentation of product training courses and seminars to the sales team, distributors and customers
  • Analyze sales and market data to find opportunities and improve sales performance
  • Drive marketing activities such as trainings, hands-on, development of marketing material, competitor analysis, product functionality and price positioning.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on market opportunities, competitive environments, and product development trends
  • Gain insights into consumer trends and needs to inform strategic decision-making
  • To coordinate activities and attend meetings at the customer site and ensure that all subsequent actions are undertaken in line with customer expectations.
  • This position requires extensive travelling along Vietnam: Northern – Central - Southern


To succeed, you will need

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor or higher Degrees in Engineering, Marketing or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years experiences in engineering, manufacturing, marketing preferably in automotive
  • Ability to understand OEM production processes, Data Protocols and Network Architectures
  • Hands on knowledge of Windows API, Microsoft Access & SQL Server and Microsoft COM
  • Working knowledge of PC to controller communication software
  • Solid understanding in exploring, creating and communicating customer value
  • Good command in Vietnamese and English
  • Experience in programming or automation will be advantaged


Knowledge

  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, problem solving skill and relation building skill
  • Strategic oriented and capable to formulate strategy and business plan
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities

Pro-active, accountable and results-oriented. Strong capacity for teamwork, can be flexible, independent and manage work load.
