We are looking for a Mid-Senior Application Security Engineer who thrives working with engineering teams to secure their products across the entire software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform application security vulnerability management and collaborate with the engineering team on vulnerability remediation
Support the Vulnerability Disclosure Program to ensure that vulnerabilities reported by external parties will be handled appropriately
Collaborate with DevOps to set up and maintain security scanning tools within pipelines
Facilitate and support the preparation of security releases;
Assist in the creation of application security training;
Assist in the development of automated security testing to validate that secure coding best practices are being used;
Participate in and support application security reviews and threat modeling, including code review and dynamic testing;
Assist in Penetration Testing both internally and externally

Requirements

Key Qualifications

BSc in Computer Science or related or 3+ years of experience;
Relevant information security certificates (GIAC GWEB, CSSLP, CCSP, etc.);
Strong ability to work with colleagues to understand our products and then come up with ways to improve existing security infrastructure;
Ability to read and understand code is very important, key languages include;
Experience with Penetration testing tools and Devsecops tools such as SonarCloud, Snyk, Burp Suite;
Solid understanding of web application security ( Web Pentest). Penetration Testing experience is a plus;
Experience in cloud security architecture and infrastructure (AWS is preferred);
Experience coding in at least one scripting language;
Able to reason about security decisions;
Experience leading projects from start to finish and mentoring other security practitioners;
An ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively to engineers who know way more than you about their code;
Familiarity with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws;
Experience with OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common security tools;
A basic understanding of network and web-related protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, protocols);
Excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner;
Experience identifying security issues through code review

Nice To Have, but not required:

Presentation experience at all levels
Experience working with compliance, privacy, IT, networking, or related functions

Lịch sử thành lập

Năm 2004, VNG được thành lập với tên gọi VinaGame.
Tháng 7 năm 2005, VinaGame (tiền thân của VNG) ký hợp đồng với Kingsoft để mang game Võ Lâm Truyền Kỳ về Việt Nam. Trong vòng 1 tháng, Võ Lâm Truyền Kỳ đã tạo nên cơn sốt tại Việt Nam với con số 300,000 người chơi truy cập tại cùng một thời điểm
Năm 2006-2007, công ty phát hành phần mềm CSM, trang thương mại điện tử 123 mua cổng thông tin Zing
Giữa năm 2009, sản phẩm mạng xã hội Zing Me ra đời với hơn 4 triệu thành viên hoạt động thường xuyên hàng tháng vào cuối năm
Năm 2010, trò chơi trực tuyến Thuận Thiên Kiếm ra đời.
Năm 2010, công ty đổi tên thương hiệu thành VNG Corporation
Năm 2011, VNG xuất khẩu trò chơi Ủn Ỉn sang Nhật Bản.
Năm 2012 & 2013, VNG ra mắt sản phẩm Zalo - ứng dụng nhắn tin và gọi điện miễn phí hoạt động trên nền tảng di động.

Năm 2019, Chính thức khai trương trụ sở chính VNG Campustại Tp. Hồ Chí Minh. Đặt khát vọng mới - “2332” với sứ mệnh “Kiến tạo công nghệ và phát triển con người. Từ Việt Nam vươn tầm thế giới” và 3 giá trị cốt lõi: Đón nhận Thách thức, Phát triển đối tác, và Gìn giữ chính trực.
Năm 2020, Ra mắt trueID, giải pháp định danh khách hàng điện tử do kỹ sư Việt phát triển.
Năm 2021, PUBG Mobile VN, Liên minh Huyền thoại: Tốc chiến và Mobile Legends: Bang Bang do VNG phát hành được lựa chọn thi đấu chính thức tại SEA Games 31 ở nội dung Thể thao điện tử
Năm 2022, VNG tham gia Liên Minh Game Việt Nam. TrueID là đơn vị đầu tiên của Đông Nam Á đạt ISO 30107-3. Chứng chỉ danh giá này được cấp bởi iBeta, đơn vị được Viện Tiêu chuẩn Kỹ thuật Quốc gia Hoa Kỳ (NIST) chứng nhận. Khánh thành trung tâm dữ liệu VNG Data Centerđạt chứng chỉ Uptime Tier III cả về thiết kế (TCDD) và thiết bị lắp đặt cho trung tâm dữ liệu (TCCF)
Năm 2023, ZaloPay hợp tác cùng Grab Việt Nam, nâng tầm trải nghiệm không tiền mặt. VNG đầu tư phát triển nền tảng quản lý đa đám mấy CloudVerse.
