The Opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Assistant Transport Manager to join our Supply Chain team on an 18-month contract. This role is crucial for ensuring service excellence in our transport operations, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement in logistics. You will be instrumental in tracking delivery performance, optimizing costs, and leveraging data to enhance speed and reliability. Main Responsibilities

• Transport Operations & Service Excellence:
• Track delivery performance meticulously and manage reverse logistics processes effectively to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
• Handle transport-related claims, both for online and offline channels, proactively to maintain high service standards.
• Budget Management & Cost Optimization:
• Prepare and diligently monitor transport budgets, conducting thorough analyses of monthly variances.
• Implement timely corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met and costs are optimized.
• Sustainability & Initiatives:
• Implement and support various delivery initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor CO₂ emissions related to transport activities and ensure accurate reporting to support sustainability goals.
• Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement:

• Leverage advanced tools such as SAP, SQL, and Power BI to analyze complex transport data.
• Generate actionable insights from data to support continuous improvement efforts in terms of cost, speed, and reliability of our transport network.
  

Work Relationships

• Internal: Supply Chain teams, Finance department, Commercial teams, and other relevant internal stakeholders.
• External: Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Warehouses, 3PL Transport partners, and other external vendors.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Proven experience in SAP, specifically within logistics or supply chain modules.
• Proficiency in SQL, Power BI (PBI), and MS Office Suite for data management and analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
