PwC Vietnam Corporate Finance (M&A) team is frequently appointed as financial advisor for both multinational and domestic companies to provide financial and strategic advice to our clients contemplating Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including fund-raising, buy-side and sell-side initiatives.
We are currently looking for a Senior Associate position to join our team in Hanoi
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct industry and market research to support deal execution and business development efforts
• Assist in the preparation of pitch materials, information memorandum, and other client-facing documents
• Prepare and analyze financial models, valuation, scenario analyses, and other transaction-related deliverables
• Assist the due diligence processes in both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs
• Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance and support throughout the deal process
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholdersTo be successful in this role, you will need:
• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field from a reputable university
• 2-5 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, transaction advisory, financial audit, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm, investment bank, or M&A advisory firm
• Excellent analytical abilities, with understanding of financial statements, accounting, and Vietnam business environment and regulatory landscape
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Effective written and verbal business communication skills in both English and Vietnamese
• Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (PowerBI, PowerQuery, Alteryx, etc.) are a plus
• Understanding of specific industry sectors relevant to the Vietnamese market
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly desirableThưởng
