 * Position Summary:
- The Cage Cashier is responsible for managing cash transactions within the casino environment. This role involves exchanging currency, chips, and Tito tickets for cash, balancing cash drawers, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls.
* Key Responsibilities:
+ Handle cash transactions with customers in a prompt and accurate manner.
+ Exchange currency, chips, and Tito tickets for cash.
+ Maintain and balance a cash drawer, ensuring accurate counts and secure handling.
+ Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
+ Follow all internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with gaming regulations.
+ Collaborate with other cage staff and departments to ensure smooth operations.
+ Assist in the preparation of daily reports and reconciliations.
+ Report any discrepancies, unusual transactions, or suspicious activities to the Cage Supervisor.
+ Participate in regular audits and inventory counts.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Adhere to anti-money laundering policies and reporting procedures.
+ Support the Cage Supervisor and other team members as needed.
