ABOUT THE JOB
This Senior Delivery Capability Manager role, within our Enterprise Technology team will see you driving excellence in Enterprise Technology and risk program delivery capability with a team of RTE and Delivery Leads (10 – 20 colleagues). Your ability to coach and lead a team of delivery professionals to achieve successful business outcomes coupled with the right hands-on technical expertise will be critical to hit the ground running.
YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Core purpose (60% role)
- You coach others in building their own skill sets and capabilities along a defined career path.
- Lead and co-ordinate resources required to implement and deliver a critical strategic change program encompassing significant business and technology change.
- You are responsible for the growth and uplift of your team capability and will own, develop and manage the RTE-Delivery Lead Community of Practice with other Chapter Leads.
- You develop delivery expertise by sharing knowledge and aligning your team members
- You are a change champion for embedding the Domain Model and new ways of working so that your team can operate effectively within the model
- You will live our PEAK and Distinctive Leadership values and use the processes and techniques to lead your team effectively
- You will work closely with delivery leaders to understand resourcing needs across your portfolio. You will lead the recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities of your team.
- You will backfill and support other Chapter leaders and their direct reports during times of leave.
Additional purpose (40% role)
- As a seasoned delivery professional, you’ll provide SME consultancy where required to help your team deliver effectively.
- Provide leadership across large scale business outcomes, with significant financial investment, broad resource demands, and extended timeframes.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience
- Ability to coach and lead delivery professionals to achieve business outcomes
- Experience leading senior delivery professionals
- In-depth understanding of Financial Products, processes and systems
- Creativity and simplifying complex processes and issues, problem solving and data-driven decision making
- Extensive experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with HCD
- techniques.
- Comfortable playing a leadership role, including leading workshops, in a cross functional business and IT team through the discovery, development and operational usage stages of change.
- Ability to innovate, adapt and grasp new skills and content
- Ability to work closely with key stakeholders and build collaborative partnerships
- Proven analytical skills and evidence based decision making
- Significant project management experience and successful delivery of Technology solutions
- Experience delivering into large scale Operations teams
- Large scale transformational change experience – people, process and technology
