Platform Development Manager/Expert to drive the development of our credit scoring and lending platform (MISA Lending). This role will focus on building innovative solutions that enhance SME access to official funding, leveraging data-driven insights and advanced credit assessment models.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Credit Scoring Project Management

• Collaborate with Data & Modelling Experts to build Vietnam’s first SME Alternative Credit Score.
• Participate in the development of credit scoring & ranking models, optimizing risk assessment and loan decision-making.

Platform Development 

• Lead the planning and execution of new features to increase total disbursement value and improve SME accessibility to funding.
• Research market trends, competitor strategies, and global product innovations to enhance our platform’s value proposition.

Business Development & Partnerships

• Own and manage partnerships with banks, from contract negotiation to go-to-market strategy execution.
• Work closely with the Marketing & Sales Department to drive growth strategies and product adoption

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Data Science, or Economics from a top university.
• MBA from a prestigious university in the UK, US, Australia, or other Western countries is considered a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the Risk Department for SME segment in a leading commercial bank or working in credit scoring consulting firms, financial advisory firms, or credit rating agencies.
• Proven experience in developing and managing lending products, digital finance solutions, or credit scoring models.
• Experience working with both traditional and modern credit assessment models.

Skills & Competencies

Technical & Analytical Skills:

Strong understanding of: 

• Credit scoring models, credit risk management, fraud detection, and early warning systems.
• SME financial assessment methodologies and alternative credit scoring approaches.

Proficiency in: data analysis to drive data-driven decisions and optimize credit models.

Hands-on experience with: 

• Advanced analytical tools
• Data modeling & forecasting techniques for credit scores and loan repayment capabilities.
• (Preferred) Knowledge of machine learning/AI-based credit models.

Business & Strategic Skills:

• Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for financial products.
• Strong negotiation skills in managing partnerships with banks and financial institutions.
• Experience in product lifecycle management in financial services or fintech.

Leadership & Communication Skills:

• Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders from different departments.
