We are seeking to recruit a highly passionate, enthusiastic and versatile High Voltage (HV) System Engineer to propel forward the technology of our vehicle HV system/components. This is a technical position within the EE Division, reporting to the High Voltage System Manager .

Responsibility

• Collaborate closely with Vehicle Development, EE Systems, and EE Quality teams throughout the full vehicle development lifecycle.
• Lead hardware design verification activities and troubleshoot issues during the integration of high-voltage components, including:
• 3-in-1 system (Power Distribution Unit, Onboard Charger, DC-DC Converter)
• HV battery systems
• External charging systems
• Manage 3-in-1 supplier deliverables and ensure alignment with program timelines and technical requirements.
• Assist in engineering risk assessments and audits; review and provide feedback on component and system-level test reports.
• Define and develop system requirements for new vehicle platforms based on evolving technology and platform strategy.
• Support audits of engineering documentation including:
• Statement of Requirements (SOR)
• Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
• Specification Books
• Engineering Change Requests (ECR)
• Design Verification Plans (DVP)
• Review and audit Design Verification and Product Validation Reports (DVPRs) to confirm that test results meet acceptance criteria and document any deviations.
• Capture lessons learned throughout all build phases and drive their implementation to ensure continuous improvement.
• Lead process improvements related to engineering inspections and high-voltage systems integration issues.
• Drive Engineering Sign-Off activities by ensuring completion of risk assessments and proper release of Engineering Statement of Maturity (ESOM).
  
  

Requirements

Ideally, in the early years of your career, you should have started as power electronics design engineer/architect and have a track record in developing OBC, DCDC converter, PDU, HV battery, and/or inverter for automotive applications or relevant technologies

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in related product development or quality management
• Design & Release experience for high voltage components/system/subsystem (EDS, POD, HV Battery, VCU)
• Knowledge in Product Design, Testing, Specs & Requirements Development, Tooling and Process Engineering
• Experience in CANoe, INCA (CAN network and calibaration analysis)
• User level knowledge of Teamcenter
• User knowledge of Electrical Simulation software
• Experience in Engineering data management and analysis (EBOM, MBOM)
• Knowledge of the SOR, FMEA, Spec Book, Design validation, Engineering Change processes
