- Making samples: Receive samples (Raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products, R&D, etc.), save samples, make samples as required.
- Co-ordinate with in-house labs: Work with in-house labs on sending samples, test results.
- Co-ordinate with external labs: Contact with local labs and overseas labs about quotation, sending samples, sample confirmation, test reports, invoices and payment.
- Send samples to external labs: Make sure all samples are sent to the external labs in accordance with the approved testing plan.
- Update tracking files: Ensure all the information related to samples in the tracking file are updated on time and correct. Follow up the progress to ensure the results come as agreed TAT.
- Manage test reports: Save test reports on system and update the test results to stakeholders timely.
- Payment for external labs: Ensure timely payment for external testing services.
- Trends analysis: Make the trends wise and analyse the trends of requested parameters.
- Cost saving: Negotiate with external laboratories to get the lowest price for the same criteria to ensure the optimization of testing costs in external laboratories.
