Job Responsibilities
As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Reviews the operations of plant equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Preventive and predictive maintenance plan in line with TPM for all the equipment
- Plan for Annual Maintenance of the plant equipment
- Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency or reduce operating costs.
- Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.
- Establishes and maintains a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
- Prepares reports, analyzes down time data, root cause analysis and take corrective and preventive actions for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
- Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
- Communicates regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues.
- Assists with hiring of maintenance personnel.
- Set maintenance KPI for maintenance technicians based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution to improve overall machine up time.
- Maintains and updates operating and training manuals for the maintenance department.
- Ensures that all maintenance technicians are trained on the most updated version of the operating procedures.
- While carrying out maintenance activity ensure safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures are followed as per company's requirement.
- Ensures that all legal requirements relating to the maintenance department are met at all times.
- Have 10 - 12 years of experience in Maintenance within minimum 3 years working as maintenance Manager or equivalent capacity from process industry, Heavy engineering company, Building material company
- Good English to communication and report.
- Basic electrical knowledge of understanding panel drawings and PLC control systems.
- Good understanding of maintenance cost tracking and preparing Capex for new equipment or projects.
- Basic operating with CAD.
- Working with Bag filters, conveyor belts, crushers, pumps and heavy equipment will be added advantage.
- Understanding of safety systems like LOTOTO, Energy Isolation, Working at Height/confined space working and able to do risk assessment for doing a particular job.
